HeadshotRank is owned and run by Heimdall Digital Holdings (heimdalldigitalholdings.com). No tool on this site owns us or pays us for placement.
How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Currently only HeadshotPro, Aragon and Dreamwave links are affiliate links; they’re labeled “affiliate link” and marked rel="sponsored". Every other tool link is a plain link that pays us nothing. We may apply to other programs and will update this page and the notice at the top of every page when one approves us.
Independence
Rankings follow our methodology. Commission rates are never an input, and having an affiliate program doesn’t move a tool up. Our affiliate partners held the same spots (HeadshotPro #1, Aragon #2, Dreamwave #6) before their programs approved us. Current affiliate status:
- HeadshotPro: Approved affiliate: links to HeadshotPro on this site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission (30%, per HeadshotPro) if you buy.
- Aragon: Approved affiliate: links to Aragon on this site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission (30%, per Aragon) if you buy.
- BetterPic: Affiliate program exists (20–35%, per BetterPic); we applied on 2026-10-18 and are awaiting review.
- Magic Studio: Not stated; we found no affiliate program for headshots.
- Secta Labs: An affiliate program appears to exist (one Trustpilot reviewer says they were an affiliate); we have not applied.
- Dreamwave: Approved affiliate: links to Dreamwave on this site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission (10%, per Dreamwave) if you buy. That hasn’t changed its last-place ranking.
What we didn’t do
We haven’t paid for or used these tools. We don’t claim hands-on testing, invent quotes or scores, or show images we didn’t make or license.
